Compulsory Team

Compulsory Development in gymnastics requires attention to detail and dance as well as gymnastics skills.   Each level requires progressively more difficult skills, and the gymnasts require greater training time to move upward in their competitive level.

Gymnasts at Tumbleweeds who have demonstrated their commitment to participate in competitions and train until they have sufficient skills and ability will then be invited to represent Tumbleweeds in competitions begin at USAG Level 4.  As they acquire more strength and skills they can continue on to Level 5 and Level 6.

Competitive gymnasts who meet all the Tumbleweeds and USAG requirements at the Compulsory Levels will move on to compete Optional Levels 7 through 10 under the Tumbleweeds Optional Team Program.
